Excursion in the City of Reus
Tour of the historic center where we will discover the history of Reus explaining the most characteristic buildings and spaces based on curiosities, anecdotes, characters, mysteries and other elements that are little known but surprising. Includes visit to the Prioral Church of San Pedro and the Vermouth Museum and tasting of two typical products of the city: vermouth and menjablanc (typical dessert)

Itinerary
Día 1
Reus city tour
- We will start the tour explaining the medieval origin of Reus in the Plaza del Mercadal.
- Next, we will visit the interior of the Church of San Pedro and when we leave we will pass through the Plaza del Castillo.
- Afterwards, we will pause to taste the typical Reus dessert, of medieval origin, the Menjablanc, in the oldest confectionery in the city. Afterwards, we will approach the El Pallol Shopping Center to discover the medieval wall that is hidden under the street (exterior view).
- Next, we will focus on modern history and head to the Plaza del General Prim, where we will talk about his exploits, controversies and his mysterious death. Afterwards, we will walk along Calle de San Juan, where we will see the facades of the modernist houses of the Tarrats, Rull and Gasull houses, as well as some anecdotes from their former owners.
- Next, we will approach the birthplace of Antonio Gaudí, the famous architect, from whom we will learn about his origins and childhood in this city. Next, we will take Calle Llovera, where we will see the 18th century Bofarull Palace (exterior), at which time Reus became an important center for the production and export of spirits.
- To finish, we will visit the Vermouth Museum, a vermutería that exhibits more than 5,000 objects related to this typical drink, which you can also taste.
