Excursion to Tarragona
The city of Tarragona is a World Heritage Site thanks to its outstanding Roman archaeological site. Its medium size and its location facing the Mediterranean Sea make it a warm, welcoming and bright city. With this guided tour you will be able to discover its important past through the most emblematic monuments, streets and squares. During the tour you will discover how this city was in its Roman, medieval and modernist times. On the Roman Tarraco, we will explain how its inhabitants lived and how they had fun, as we will see the Roman entertainment buildings, the Circus and the Amphitheater. We will also discover Roman remains at each step when walking the streets of the Upper Part, remains that often go unnoticed. Likewise, we will get to know modern Tarragona, while we stroll along the beautiful Balcony of the Mediterranean and visit part of the Rambla Nova, from where we will find examples of modernist buildings, such as the Central Market.
