Día 1
Start of the tour

Discover the multitude of details on the facades of the buildings during the tour. Walk through the narrow streets of the old part of the city and discover the secrets it hides. Marvel at picturesque medieval squares hidden from the crowds and learn about their historical importance. Follow your guide through the streets of El Born, on the way to the bus we will pass in front of the splendid Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar.
- Board a climate-controlled bus for a panoramic tour of the city. You will pass through the Ciutadella Park, the Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, Barceloneta, until you reach the Montjuic mountain, an area that hosted a large part of the facilities for the 1992 Olympic Games. Get ready to enjoy the incredible views over the city of Barcelona aboard the cable car. Finally we will make a stop at the MNAC viewpoint to calmly contemplate one of the best panoramic views of the city. On the way back to the office, on board the bus we will pass through Paseo de Gracia, one of the most important streets in Barcelona, and we will see the facades of emblematic Gaudí buildings such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
- Check in again at our office and board one of our comfortable buses to Montserrat. Together with your guide, you will take the rack railway to the center of Montserrat enjoying impressive views. World famous for its rocky landscape, the mountain of Montserrat was declared a National Park in 1987 to protect its cultural and natural heritage.
- Follow your local guide and discover the history of the Monastery, as well as its architectural style. Fall in love with the fusion of Gothic and Renaissance styles in its basilica and sanctuary. Discover that the importance of the place is due to the legend that tells of the miraculous appearance of a representation of the Virgin with the baby Jesus in one of the mountain caves, the Santa Cova. Visit this wooden carving, guarded today in the Church of the monastery. The figure is popularly known as La Moreneta due to a reaction of the varnish over time, which has darkened it.
- Montserrat is closely linked to spirituality. Today a community of 80 monks inhabits the place following the rule of Saint Benedict. For this reason, in addition to the main monastery, the mountain is home to a large number of churches and hermitages, some already abandoned.
