Día 1
Start of the tour
- The descent of the Hoz Somera is located in the Serranía de Cuenca, about 200 km from Madrid.
- It is an ideal ravine to begin in the aquatic ravines with rope. There is an approach of one hour to the entrance to the ravine.
- It is a lonely ravine but very beautiful and fun. With a permanent flow of water and six rappels (between 8 and 16 meters each), we will enter its chaos to discover the bowels of this impressive river.
- We will meet the guide at 10:00 at the Caserío de Vadillos hotel (in Puente Vadillos). We will distribute the individual material (neoprene, booties, helmet, harness and anchor bag) and the collective material (backpacks, watertight drums and ropes).
- It is important to bring shoes or boots (not flip flops) for the ravine, and some food that we will put in our watertight drums. This ravine has an approximation of almost an hour. Halfway through we will make a stop to have a snack, we will continue the route.
- Once the ravine is finished, in 20 minutes we will return to the cars where we will all have our well-deserved snack together.
- It is recommended to bring spare shoes, as the ones used in the ravines will be wet.
